Zeroed—make more sustainable grocery lists
Zeroed is a Valuebin’s proprietary app for comparing products in terms of their impact on the environment and health. The project was first developed with the startup that came up with the concept, and was then deepened by me into a 2.0 version, presented here.
Zeroed was created with the intent to empower users and guide them to make different choices at the supermarket, creating more sustainable and healthy shopping lists.

The concept was developed from detailed research on the emissions of the food system, currently about 30% of per capita emissions. The focus was then set on changing user behavior.
To achieve this goal, some principles of behavioral change and behavioral design were applied, focusing on the influence of design and digital technology on human behavior.

Combining User Experience Design solutions applied to usage scenarios, and an innovative visualization of the environmental impact scale, the application incentivizes a conscious consumption behavior that tends to zero.
